2020-21 were very trying times for everyone. It was immensely difficult to comprehend exactly what one should, and should have done and not done and continue to provide the optimum public safety currently, whilst still maintaining our highest standard of care and attention towards our patients.
At Ilkley Chiropractic Clinic, we constantly reviewed both government and professional advice, together with reviewing appropriate documentation, on an almost daily basis, to enable us to provide the most comprehensive care for all our patients, since the onset of this virus in February 2020.
Ilkley Chiropractic Clinic remained open during all the lockdowns as a result of assessing the advice received from our governing body and our professional chiropractic association. Consequently, we served a concerned patient base throughout the period of the pandemic, with care and sensitivity towards all our patients’ needs.
The response from our patient base has been humbling and we that you for your support and kind compliments during this period.
In addition, to adopting the generic advice provided by the relevant professional bodies, Ilkley Chiropractic enhanced the guidance and published protocols, beyond that recommended for chiropractic clinicians.
Consequently, we ensured that all our patients only interacted with one clinician during the period of time that they were within the clinic environment.
Additionally, we ensured that the volume of clean air that facilitated at the clinic was and is, far in excess of the guidelines outlined by the NHS for similar facilities. This had been our policy for many years before the onset of the pandemic.
We adopted a one way system throughout the clinic, ensuring minimal interaction when not required.
Patient appointments were spaced out to ensure as best we could, that there was no interaction between patients.
Our chiropractic benches and other surfaces that a patient may come into contact with, whilst in the clinic, were cleaned thoroughly between patients.
To date Ilkley Chiropractic Clinic was immensely proud of the manner by which we have been able to ensure the safest clinical environment in which to treat our patients, whilst also making sure that the experience still maintains the warm, caring, professional and considerate attitude that Ilkley Chiropractic Clinic has built its reputation on, since first opening in Ilkley in 2003.
As always, Ilkley Chiropractic Clinic is receptive to the thoughts and comments of its patient base, and welcome any feedback from patients in an attempt to provide the same quality of service that the Clinic has always been known for.
To that end, we recently undertook a patient survey, in regards to their satisfaction with the manner in which the clinic was being managed currently.
We are delighted to report a 100% satisfaction rate, which was beyond our expectations.
