Ilkley Chiropractic Covid-19 statement

Ilkley Chiropractic would like to inform its patient base that the Clinic remains open.

All patient encounters are, as always, One to One, and due to the efficiency of our service, patients will very rarely encounter a fellow patient within the confines of the Clinic.

Ilkley Chiropractic Clinic has been conscientiously serving the people of Ilkley for the last 17 years and as a Chiropractic Clinic and thus a Medical Establishment, and will continue to serve the people of Ilkley and its immediate environs with the same care and attention that it has become known for since it first opened in 2003.

Chiropractic Care focuses on any condition that involves the muscular, skeletal or nervous system. This includes injuries to ligaments and tendons and joints whether that be your knee, shoulder, neck, ankle or wrist.

How it all works

1.

You will be asked to fill out a detailed initial consultation form. It's important that we know as much about your general medical health as possible!

2.

Your chiropractor will to take a detailed history during the initial consultation, directing them towards the reasons behind your symptom presentation.

3.

With this information, your chiropractor will undertake an examination; specifically tailored to your complaint. This initial consultation will last up to one hour.

4.

As a result of the history and examination, your chiropractor will be able to explain to you their working diagnosis and the treatment necessary to assist and improve your condition.

5.

Once you have understood your condition, your chiropractor will usually undertake the first treatment at your initial presentation*.

* If further investigations are deemed necessary prior to treatment, this will be discussed. This said, a clear working diagnosis at your initial consultation is the expected outcome. Wherever possible, you will be informed of the possible number of treatment plans available to improve your condition.

Ilkley Chiropractic Clinic is a very busy clinic and thus the availability of appointments is often sparse.
Being aware of how much discomfort patients are in when they contact the clinic, we ensure that we offer the earliest possible appointment available so that we can start to reduce your symptoms as soon as possible.
Sadly, some people make appointments and then fail to attend, and often fail to notify us of their intent, not to attend.
Regrettably, this means that someone else, who could have been given an appointment misses out. Thus, in an attempt to ensure patients attend their appointments that are scheduled in such a manner as to improve their symptoms as soon as possible, it has become necessary to levy a 100% cancellation fee for non-notification of non-attendance. Rescheduling of appointments more than 24 hours before the appointment is due will not levy a cancellation fee.
